Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast
Thank you to Appalachian Power Company for being our 2024 title sponsor!
Two major parts of the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce's mission are advocacy and networking, and our annual Legislative Wrap-Up Breakfast is an excellent opportunity for Bedford area professionals and civic leaders to participate in both.
The Legislative Wrap-Up will be held on Thursday, March 28 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m at Cedar Oaks Farm. Businesses, citizens, and state officials will be able to connect over a delicious breakfast at a beautiful venue. Catering will be provided by Bridge Street Cafe.
Legislators will give their thoughts on the 2024 General Assembly Session and the impacts it will have on our community. A hyperlocal Q&A session will be moderated by Tim Saunders, Business Engagement & Outreach Coordinator with the Central VA Workforce Development Board. BACC members can submit potential questions for our legislators by filling out this online form by March 21.
The following state legislators tentatively plan to attend:
- Senator Mark Peake, District 8
- Delegate Eric Zehr, District 51
- Delegate Tim Griffin, District 53
Matt Hall, Community Liaison for the Office of the Attorney General, is also confirmed to be in attendance.
