Each year, the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the Bedford Forum, which is not a debate but rather a civil informational session for voters leading up to Election Day. Last year, we heard from balloted, opposed candidates representing the Town and/or County at the state and local levels. This year, there are four balloted Town Council candidates running for four open seats.

While we still have a moderated Q&A with candidates, we will also offer a "Meet & Greet" segment at the beginning of the event. Attendees will also hear from Mary Zirkle, Director of Planning and Community Development, regarding the Town's upcoming Comprehensive Plan. Submit input for the Comprehensive Plan HERE.

Doors open at 5:00PM. This free event will be moderated by Tim Saunders, Business Engagement & Community Outreach Coordinator for the Central VA Workforce Development Board. The Q&A will be broadcasted and recorded on Facebook Live for those unable to attend.
