On Friday, March 5th, the Bedford Area Chamber was pleased to assist with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the new Taco Bell / Pizza Hut at its new location in the Forest Square Shopping Center on Highway 221.

President Susan Martin, Board Chairman Alex Richardson (StellarOne), Board Member Jim Burns (Andrew Wireless) and other staff members represented the Chamber.  Bruce Gilbert, Davenport Energy, and Gene Minso, cMe Associates were there to lend their support to the new business, as well. 

Restaurant Manager Tashawna Kitrell (pictured with scissors) tells us the restaurant is doing well and that she's looking forward to its future success.. She will be hosting their Grande Opening Celebration on Saturday, March 6, 10 - 12 Noon.  Drawings will be held for lots of free food.  During the Opening they will be featuring Tacos for only 96 cents!   Come on, come all!
