Precept Schools of Virginia Celebrating Grand Enrollment Ribbon Cutting Ceremony ![]() The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to provide a ribbon cutting ceremony for Precept Schools of Virginia (PSV) on Wednesday, April 21, 2010. Cutting the ribbon is student Caleb Martin who, according to Head of School Becky Hensley, received the honor because of his volunteer services in helping to keep the school clean. Wikopedia definies education as “any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character or physical ability of an individual. In its technical sense, education is the process by which society deliberately transmits its accumulated knowledge, skills and values from one generation to another.” The teaching staff at PSV in Bedford is not only excited about teaching the 3 R’s to its students (who often excel far above grade level), it also understands their tremendous responsibility of instilling Christian values into the students’ daily lives.
On Wednesday, May 26th, you will be able to tour the school and view classrooms in operation during its Open House from 10 AM – 6 PM. With extremely affordable tuition and small classroom sizes, PSV offers an attractive alternative to the public classroom. PSV is in open enrollment at this time and able to bring your student immediately into grades K-9. For more information, you may reach them at 540-586-6729.
