Events week of March 8th-March 14th:

Saturday, March 13th: The Lynchburg Women's Show is being held in the Schilling Center at Liberty University - 10am - 4pm. Basketcase will be at Booth #90 with lots of fun things to see and buy. With so many gifting occasions coming up, we will have a wonderful assortment of ideas to ponder. You will find our gold-boxed assorted chocolates, as well as gift selections for Doctor's Day (March 30), chocolate Easter Eggs and solid chocolate rabbits of all sizes for Easter

Saturday, March 13th:The Bedford Genealogical Society's meeting, held at the Bedford Public Library will feature Ed Tinsley, retired Virginia State Trooper who will speak on Hurricane Camille. Camille hit VA in August, 1969 and dumped 31 inches of rain in a few hours. He was involved in the evacuation, rescue, and recovery of residents.  Especially hard hit was Nelson Co. where over 120 people died. The meeting is free and open to the public.
