After a Sneak Preview on Wednesday evening, April 14th, the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to support the new Kroger store with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony the following morning at 9 AM.  Officiating at the ribbon ceremony were Store Manager Brian Simpkins (pictured with scissors) business associate Charles "Dewey" Gunnoe, and a host of store employees.

Located in the Forest Square Shopping Center and eagerly awaited by Bedford County residents, the store was teeming with shoppers and those "hopefuls" who registered to win wide screen tv's, free groceries and gas, and many other prizes.  The Grand Opening will continue throughout the week so stop in to be amazed at how beautiful this store really is and to take advantage of their many specials in celebration of their opening.
