Grand Opening at Bentley Commons Assisted Living Added
![]() The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to join Bentley Commons at Lynchburg, in celebration of the Grand Opening of their New Assisted Living Wing. The Open House and Ribbon Cutting ceremony took place on Friday, January 28, 2011 from 3:00-6:00pm and included tours, door prizes and live music.
Bentley Commons is an active, senior retirement community consisting of apartment style homes. It reflects the attitudes of people who want a lifestyle of independence knowing that they have access to a variety of care should the need arise. Individualized services for Assisted Living include daily personal care, medication supervision, housekeeping services, dining services, recreational programs, and transportation.
Photo: Chamber President Susan Martin was available to give her congratulations and lend the Chamber’s support, along with Christy Lucy,Chamber Director of Special Events. Board Members Jim Burns (Andrew Wireless) and Vice Chair Anita Lowe, Bedford Memorial Hospital were also in attendance.
