Carriage Hill Retirement Center Has a New Look!

The Bedford Area Chamber was pleased to assist Carriage Hill Retirement Center with an Open House and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Friday, January 22. 

Carriage Hill is a 100 unit assisted living and memory care community. The campus is on 14 acres with unprecedented views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was purchased in July 2009 by TJM Properties based in Clearwater, Florida.

TJM Property has acquired, managed, brokered and developed real estate since 1979,.and opened its first Independent and Assisted Living center in downtown St. Petersburg.  It continues to expand its holdings with an aggressive acquisition plan.  The Clearwater management staff, located at 420 Bay Avenue, Clearwater, Florida, is actively pursuing the acquisition of additional Independent and Assisted Living facilities in the Eastern United States.

Mayor “Skip” Tharp was available for comments and charged the new owners with the protective “care of our mothers and fathers, aunts and uncles, for these people are our heritage.”
