The Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce encourages all of our members to get involved in our organization and committee participation is a great way to broaden your network of contacts and learn about issues that impact your business.
These specialized committees provide a forum for participants to collaborate on important business issues, build a productive network of business-to-business relationships and play a role in the decision-making of our organization.

The Bedford Education Alliance seeks to enhance workforce development by exposing our youth to opportunities in their own community at an early age, giving them a head start in their plans for completing their education.
The Business & HR Group is a committee comprised of Chamber members, community business leaders and human resource professionals that provide support to one another and smaller businesses on business & employment related topics through the sharing of experience, knowledge, education and collaboration
The mission of the Government Affairs Committee is to develop legislative positions and propose legislative changes that will benefit Chamber members, preserve a healthy regulatory business climate and promote growth within Bedford City and County.

The mission of the Special Events Committee is to support the BACC through volunteer effort in planning, promoting, securing sponsorships and attending the chamber’s annual special events. Organize and develop profitable and well-planned events for the benefit of the Chamber and its members

The mission of the Transportation Advocacy Group is to advocate for chamber members regarding all modes of transportation and funding thereof, including but not limited to, primary and secondary roads, air and rail.
